    The exhibition at FERIA CLANDESTINA curated by XP · ART AGENCY, showcases the recent artworks by Manuela Gjoka. It features her acclaimed photography series such as Celestial Membrane, Under Ether, and Sea Through, and introduces her newest series, Death of a Jellyfish—an exploration of decay and transformation through scanographic techniques.

     

    Manuela Gjoka: Redefining the Art World
    A rising star in Miami’s vibrant art scene, Manuela Gjoka is known for her fearless exploration of the transformation of identity, space, and emotion. Drawing on her Albanian roots and architectural training, she crafts multi-dimensional works that challenge and captivate. 

    Manuela Gjoka is a Miami-based visual artist pursuing an MFA at Barry University. Her main focus is photography, installation, and performance art. Rooted in her Albanian upbringing, her artistic journey began with architectural studies at Polis University of Architecture and Urbanism, where graduated 2013. 

    In 2017, she moved to New York, working as an architect where her passion for photography flourished. Manuela focuses on capturing architectural landscapes and interiors, exploring their transcendental qualities. Additionally, her work in performance art allows her to engage directly with audiences, creating immersive experiences that challenge perceptions of space and identity.

    She has exhibited and performed  widely in Miami, including ““Blue Convergence” at Coral Springs Museum of Art, Convergence”  “Performance in Flux” at Colour Senses Project”,  “Women in Flux” at Miami Art Society, Archive 79 Art Gallery, “Video in Flux” at Miami Art Society, “Studio Seven", "A Tribute to the American Flag" at The Milander, "Café con Arte" at Futurama Gallery. Her work reflects a rich fusion of cultural influences, inviting a dialogue that bridges the spaces between us.
